Wolodymyr Basarab Obituary
He will be missed and forever loved by his family and friends.
Walter is pre-deceased by his parents: Teodozyj & Maria Basarab, his brother Bohdan and nephew Victor Basarab.
Walter leaves behind his wife, Aggie Koe of Nazareth, Pa, Sister Olha Basarab-Ponos, Brother Orest Basarab(Theresa),
Nephew Roman Ponos(Olena), Nieces Tania Ponos-Symmons(Gary) and Larissa Basarab Behrang(Mark), Grandnieces Sofia & Eva Ponos, Alexa and Kira Symmons and Brooklyn Behrang. Plus his 4 Beloved Cats.
Born in Mannheim, Germany on July 10, 1956, Walter moved to the United States as a child and grew up in Cedar Knolls, NJ.
Walter was Ukrainian by birth and culture and was a member of the Ukrainian Community locally and in New Jersey.
He lived in the Lehigh Valley since 1993 and worked as a Medical Technician for many years with several local and national companies throughout the Lehigh Valley.
He was a real estate investor and property owner throughout the Lehigh Valley.
Walter had a warm and caring personality and was loved by many. He was blessed with a great sense of humor and a love of old classic movies, TV shows and jazz music.
He was a friend of Bill W's for 23 years.
Funeral arrangements are private and at the convenience of the family.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Walter. We worked together at Young's Medical and he was always so nice and helpful. He will be missed by all who knew him.
