Youssef Georges Moussa went to be with God on November 23, 2011. He was born on October 27, 1940 in Hama, Syria to Georges Moussa and Nijme Abboud. He was the husband of Kloud Aiyoub for over 40 years. He served as a Brigadier General in the Syrian Army for 30 years. Mr. Moussa was a member of St. George Orthodox Church, Allentown. Survivors: His wife Kloud Aiyoub; sons, George of Whitehall, Joull, Wael and Fadi of Allentown; two daughters, Jelnar of Allentown and Jacqueline of Phillipsburg, NJ; sisters, Nasrine of Sao Paulo, Brazil, Catherine of Allentown, Souad of Homs, Syria and Safek of Yabrud, Syria. He was a loving grandfather to five grandchildren. He was predeceased by a granddaughter, Kloudine Mousa; sister, Josephine and brothers, Antoine and Esman. Services: 11 a.m. Monday November 28, St. George Orthodox Church, 1011 Catasauqua Ave. Allentown, with interment to follow at Laurel Cemetery. Calling hours 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in the church. The family is being served by the Nicos C. Elias Funeral Home, Allentown. Contributions: Donations to the St. George Church building fund.
