Kirk Eimers Obituary

KIRK LEE EIMERS Kirk Lee Eimers, 80, of Boise, Idaho, passed away peacefully on September 15, 2025. Kirk was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on August 3, 1945, and grew up surrounded by family in Grangeville, Idaho, where he graduated from high school. He went on to earn his bachelor's degree at the University of Idaho and later his MBA from Seattle University. It was in Seattle that Kirk met the love of his life, Helen. They were married on January 31, 1974, and together raised three children stepson Darin, son Bart, and daughter Tara. Kirk built a successful career in the forest products industry, which gave the family opportunities to live in many parts of the country, including Seattle, Washington; De Queen, Arkansas; Wilton, Connecticut; Dallas, Texas; and Memphis, Tennessee. In 1990, Kirk and Helen made their home in McCall, Idaho, where they spent the next 28 years together. Kirk loved McCall deeply and served his community as Mayor and City Council Member from 1997 to 2006. Above all, Kirk loved his family fiercely. He will be missed deeply by all who knew him. He is survived by his children: stepson Darin Ballew (wife Lori), son Bart Eimers (wife Nichole), and daughter Tara Eimers Bean (husband Bobby); nine grandchildren Mason, Jake, Josh, Karissa, Riley, Kate, Carter, Zane, and Joey; and his brother, Garth Eimers (wife Wendy). Arrangements are under the direction of Bowman Funeral Parlor of Garden City.
