LINDA SUE JANASIK October 27, 1949 - March 4, 2023 Linda S. Janasik (Nickels), 73, formerly of Cascade, Idaho, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2023, at her daughter's home in Nampa with family by her side. Linda was born in Springfield, Missouri, on October 27, 1949, to Mr. and Mrs. Harley C. Nickels. They then moved to Idaho City, Idaho. In 1963 they moved to Cascade, Idaho, where Linda attended and finished high school, then went to college in Portland, Oregon, later moving back to Cascade with her two children. Linda then worked at the Cascade Hospital for 35 years as a CNA, EMT and doing the winning logo contest "The City of Helping Hands" for Donnelly, Idaho. Linda is survived by her daughter, Tracy Manuel, Nampa; her son Harley Janasik; her brother Carl and Vicki Nickels, Cascade; four grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held at the home of her brother Carl Nickels at 13 One Eleven Way in Cascade, on Saturday, July 8, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Please bring a dish to share and stories.
