Philip Luther Wright, 51, of Marion, went to be with the Lord Friday, Aug. 13, 2021.
Philip was born Jan. 18, 1970, in Flint, Mich., to the late Roy Wright and Shirley Pressley Wright.
He attended His Place Worship Center and was the co-owner/operator of Mill-Wright Fence Company. Philip was a happy man who loved recklessly and loved everyone. He will forever be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Those left behind to cherish Philip's memory are his beloved wife of three years, Rhonda Wright; eight children, Brienna Wright, Megan Wright, Allison Wright, Megan Woody (Colton), McKale McKinney, Bryan Grindstaff, Erin Hensley and Autumn Morris; three siblings, Rita Wright Jones (Dave), Gary Wright (Kim) and Larry Wright; six grandchildren which include three special grandchildren, Willow, Ellie and Erron; and many cherished friends and family members.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 4 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 18, in the chapel of Westmoreland Funeral Home in Marion. A funeral service to celebrate Philip's life will follow at 4 p.m., at the funeral home, with Pastor Paul Boyd officiating.
In the family's care and concern for others they ask that all who attend to wear a mask and practice social distancing.
