Steve Davis Obituary

Mr. Steve "Easy" Davis, age 38, of Marion, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2009 at his residence. Born in McDowell County on April 1, 1970, he was the only son of Jack and Janice Killough Davis of Marion. A longtime employee of Tom Johnson's Camping Center, he attended Maranatha Baptist Church. Fishing and hunting were his most favorite pastimes. His family and friends will remember him for his easy-going nature and friendly disposition. Surviving, in addition to his parents, are his wife, Christina Mae Davis; three children, Steven, Briana and Tre,' all of Marion; a sister, Trisha Styles of Marion; and his paternal grandmother, Clara Walker of Spencer. A service to celebrate his passing into his heavenly reward will be held on Friday, Jan. 30, 2009 at 2 p.m. in Westmoreland Chapel with Rev. Dean Silver officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Davistown Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery in Old Fort. I just now heard about this awful thing that happened to Steve. He was a great friend to me. I am so sorry to hear about this. Steve rest in peace and to his son Steven may god always be with you, and keep you safe!

christy yall have been such great friend to me i hate this had to happend. i know we hadn't spoke in a long time.i just don't know what happend there i'm real sorry for you and your kids.he was a great guy i know he loved you and you loved him but remember there will be a day you will meet again with no pain it will be a joyful day.if you need anything give me a call anytime .
