Stuart, Clay, and all of your family members,
I shall truly miss lovely Sylvia being here with us on this earth, and I rejoice that she was in Christ. She was always so elegant, so genteel and graceful! She had such a delightful, calm way about her. She was generous of spirit. I will always remember the dulcet tones of her voice and that quiet, melodic laugh completing the musical chords of our conversations. Even in July when I last saw her, when she was so ill, she still had that sense of humor and optimism.
My first memory of Sylvia was at your wedding, Stuart! For the pain in your heart, I ask God for healing and strength. Must not we all celebrate that Sylvia is now enjoying her new body in the presence of God the Father, the Holy Spirit, and Jesus Christ?

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I had the pleasure of working with Sylvia at PG for a number of years. She was always smiling and always found time to make me laugh. She will certainly be missed by all of us. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

To Duncan family... I wanted to say that Im sorry to hear about Mrs. Duncans passing. She was my 2nd and 5th grade teacher at Pleasant Gardens school in the 80's. Sylvia was a sweet lady & wonderful teacher. All are in my thoughts.

ALTHOUGH I MOVED FROM WHITMIRE AFTER THE 6TH GRADE, I HAVE FOND MEMORIES OF BEAUTIFUL SYLVIA. SHE WAS ALWAYS SMARTER THAT I WAS, AND IN THOSE DAYS A LOT QUIETER, TOO. I KNOW SHE WILL BE MISSED BY THOSE WHO LOVED HER MOST.

I went to grade school and high school with Sylvia in Whitmire. I always thought a lot of her and regret her passing. She was a class act.
