I can´t think of a colleague and friend I´ve enjoyed more than Duff. Duff was a gift to all who knew him for his dedication to his mission and service to others. We first met in Iran and, for the most part, never stopped laughing.
I have fond memories of meeting Duff at conferences in China and Uganda. He believed the best way to structure your career was understanding the realities in the field.
As we have the same last name, colleagues often mixed us up. Recently a Swedish colleague asked if Duff was my brother.
I knew his first love was his family and I will cherish my memories of Duff always.
