Barbara Steinbach Obituary

Barbara Elaine Steinbach (nee Bell), aged 60, of Powder Springs, GA, passed away on October 2, 2025. Born on November 23, 1964 in Kennestone Hospital, Elaine was known for her friendliness, generosity and her natural talents as a photographer and musician.

Elaine was a dedicated Emergency Medical Technician at Central EMS for over a decade, where she played a crucial role in medical evacuations during hurricanes in Louisiana and Texas. Following her tenure in emergency services, she pursued her passion for photography and graphic design, establishing a successful career in these fields.

Elaine received her education at Hollydale Elementary School, McEachern High School, and later, earned an Associates Degree at Chattahootchee Technical College, which laid the foundation for her diverse professional life.

She is survived by her brother, David Bell, sister-in-law Sandra Bell, and niece Gina Bell. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert E. and Mary Bell.

Elaine's hobbies included photography, music, and graphic design, all of which reflected her creative spirit. She was formerly a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church until 1982 and later Maple Avenue Methodist Church until 2000.

She will be greatly missed by the great multitude of friends she made along the way. She never meet a stranger and was a friend to all.

A private wake was held in her honor, and other private celebrations of her life will be scheduled later. The family requests that donations be made in Elaine's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and Shriners Children's Hospital, honoring her life of service and care.
