Gail Lynch Obituary

In Loving Honor of Sam Lynch

A Life of Strength, Energy, and Endless Love

The world was blessed by the vibrant spirit of Sam Lynch, a strong, honest, and deeply loving woman whose energy outshone that of people decades younger. Sam lived life in constant motion - boating, camping, cooking, and entertaining - always giving her whole heart to the people around her.

Sam's devotion reached far beyond her home. She cared fiercely for her friends and her work family, offering loyalty, laughter, and unwavering support. She built relationships that lasted a lifetime, touching hearts with her generosity and genuine warmth.

Sam leaves behind her devoted husband, Michael Lynch, and her daughters - Kim Leshyk, Kari Cardwell, and Amanda Lynch - each carrying forward her strength and spirit. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Josie Kohlan, Tara Kohlan, Zachary Cardwell, Hannah Cardwell, Emilee Cardwell, and Casey Sawyer.

Her life was a testament to living boldly, loving fully, and lifting others simply by being herself. Though she has stepped beyond this horizon, the light she shared continues to guide all who loved her.

Sams' family will receive friends 1 til 1:55 PM Saturday, December 17th at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home in Marietta with a Celebration of Life at 2:00 pm.

Sam cared for everyone and everything she encountered. I remember walking into her office to ask a question. While sitting down, I noticed something zip across the floor. I jumped up and almost out of my skin, asking Sam if we had rats lol. She smiled and said it was just Walter. Walter turned out to be a lizard that made its way into the office. Sam took care of him as long as he was around. He fancied her office and stayed behind her desk for weeks. I saw Sam pick a leaf off of her office plant and break it up into pieces. She literally made a salad for Walter! Sam knew I was terrified of Walter, so if I poked my head in her office and he was out on his daily stroll, she would just say "Walter, go back in" and Walter actually listened.
