Janet Langley Obituary

Janet Langley, of Marietta, and formerly Savannah, passed away Wednesday December 13.

Janet was born April 05, 1956, in Hamlet NC, to Kathryn and Joe Langley. Janet attended Osborne High School, and was voted "Most Witty" of her senior class.

Janet traveled all over the world, and met and dined with the rich and famous.

She was loved and adored, and was the life of the party wherever she went. She had terrific friends locally, in Savannah, and all over the country. She loved each and every one of them.

Janet loved her God, and greatly loved her family. She is survived by her brothers, Jeff, Jimmy, and Wayne, and her many beloved nieces and nephews.

As per Janet's wishes, there are no public services planned.

Janet and I met in the early 80s when we worked in retail. We remained friends after she moved to Savannah and when she moved back. She truly lit up every room and was a wonderful friend over the years. I will never forget her!!

To her family, my condolences over her loss.

There are so many stories and memories with Janet we were childhood friends. She and I would ride the train in the summer to her grandmother´s in South Carolina so many, many stories of our adventures. She will always be in my memories even though we have not talked in a lot of years. She was just a fun person and I will miss her.
