John Hahn Obituary

JOHN HUBERT (JACK) HAHN, age 89 of Acworth, GA, passed away November 29, 2024. He was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Evelyn Martin Hahn of Acworth, GA, and his parents, Homer James and Mildred Schleeter Hahn of Kokomo, IN. He is survived by one son, Peter James Hahn of Woodstock, GA, and granddaughters, Natalie Brooks Hahn of Woodstock, GA, and Mary Kendall Hahn Hale (Josh) of Acworth, GA.

Mr. Hahn was employed in the Wire Industry for over 50 years, at Continental Steel Corp. in Kokomo, IN; Atlantic Steel in Atlanta, GA; Feldkircher Wire in Nashville, TN; and Mid-South Wire in Nashville, TN. He retired from Mid-South Wire in 2006.

He was a Fourth Degree member of the Knights of Columbus in Kokomo, IN, and was a life member of Council #656. He was a member of St. Clare of Assisi Catholic Church in Acworth, GA.

The family will receive friends from 10:00am-1:00pm on Friday, December 6th, at Georgia Funeral Care, 4671 S. Main St. Acworth, GA 30101. An inurnment service will follow at 2:00 at the Rolling Hills Cemetery in Acworth, GA. Georgia Funeral Care & Cremation Services, Acworth, GA is in charge of the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the charity of choice.
