Lacy Bishop Obituary

Lacy Gilbert 'Bo" Bishop passed away Monday April 14th at Wellstar Community Hospice at Kennesaw Mountain in Marietta,

Bo is survived by his wife Susan Hardage; daughter, Angela Burgess; son, Gilbert Bishop and brother, Billy Bishop.

Bo was born April 17, 1950 in Marietta, GA and was the son of Lacy G. 'Buddy' Bishop and to Bertha May Bearden Bishop.

He attended Marietta High School where he played trumpet for the MHS Band and also the Nine Lives Band.

Bo enjoyed canoeing, fishing and most of all camping in the North Georgia Mountains at Deep Hole near Suches. He even got Susan to enjoy camping by the river and hiking. One of his most cherished memories was having the entire family sitting around a big campfire laughing, singing and talking about all the fun and crazy things they did during the sixty five years of camping at Deep Hole.

Bo will be greatly missed but lovingly remembered.

Bo's family and friends will gather at Three Amigos on Whitlock Avenue on Saturday April 19th from 1-3:00 PM.
