Linda Bozich Obituary

Linda Lou Bates Bozich, 78, of Marietta, GA, passed away Saturday, February 8, 2025. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at Mayes Ward Dobbins Funeral Home, Historic Marietta Chapel. The family will receive friends an hour prior. Internment will follow at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA.

Linda is survived by her husband, Robert Bozich; sons, Robert Grant Bozich (Felicia) and Richard Jeffrey Bozich; brothers, Robert Bates, Jeffrey Bates (Lisa) and Brian Bates (Michele); grandchildren, Olivia Bozich, Rylie Grace Bozich and Brooks Richard Bozich. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and extended family. She is predeceased by her daughter, Janna Lynne Bozich.

Linda was a devoted U.S. Navy wife for 59 years to her beloved husband, Robert Bozich. Linda was an amazing mother and special needs mother to her daughter, Janna. She was always there for Janna, providing her with love, support and encouragement. Linda was also a member of the Marietta Garden Club for almost 20 years. She loved spending time in her garden, tending to her flowers. Linda never met a stranger and had an amazing personality. She would talk to anyone and everyone, always making them feel welcome and loved. Her joy for life, her laughter, and her genuine interest in others made her a cherished friend to all. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
