I found out about Mark's passing this month. I met Mark in 1970 when I was transferred to the original East Valley Elementary School from Sedalia Park Elementary School. It was not until the Wheeler High School days that we really palled around together, especially after he got his first car. I used to visit with him occasionally in between classes in the "smoke hole" at Wheeler just to get in some social time. Mark was more of a free spirited, fun loving, and serendipitous person. In the late 80's and early 90's, we were both moving along in our careers. He had finished HVAC school then and started working in that industry. At that time, Mark's serendipitous personality met with my structured lifestyle, and I would find us discussing our individual hopes, plans, and dreams for our lives over dinner or while taking a drive to look at property and explore. Mark loved to ride and explore all of his adult life.
We helped each other work on our cars, repair things around our homes, and we helped each other get through the occasional rough spots in life. I enjoyed Mark's family when visiting at his mother's house. I have many fond memories over the decades with Mark and the Adair family. He is missed!
