Mary Grizzle Obituary

Mary Louvana Grizzle, age 97, of Marietta, Georgia entered Heaven on Saturday, June 14, 2025.

Mary was born in Dahlonega, Georgia to the late Arthur Joseph and Lula Mae Grizzle Lee. She was a member of East Wood Baptist Church. In her spare time she enjoyed needlepoint, cooking, and watching her flowers grow. But she really enjoyed reading her Bible. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Emory Grizzle and her son Ronald Grizzle; sisters Bonnelle Stephens and Ciella Wilson; her brothers Jewell Lee, Glenson Lee, and Richard Lee. Those left to cherish memories include her daughter, Wanda Free; granddaughter Heather Long and Chad; grandson, Travis Forrester; great-grandchildren Angela Akin, Yasmine Forrester, and Olivia, Hannah and Harrison Long; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives , and friends.

The family will receive guests from 10 - 11 AM on Thursday, June 19th at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Historic Chapel in Marietta with the services to follow immediately.
