Pamela Lynn Garrison Jones, age 78, of Marietta, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. A celebration of her life will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, October 25, 2025, in the chapel of Carmichael Funeral Home in Smyrna, with interment to follow at Olive Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Pam was a woman whose spirit was truly unmatched. She had a heart that loved deeply, a smile that could light up any room, and a way of making everyone feel special. She lived her life with grace, warmth, and unwavering love for her family and friends. A proud graduate of Osborne High School, Class of 1965, Pam cherished her roots in the Marietta community and the many lifelong friendships she made along the way. She was also a devoted member of Cheatham Hill Baptist Church, where her faith and kindness touched the lives of many. Pam had a zest for life that was simply unforgettable. She loved soaking up the sun with a perfect tan, sipping her Dunkin' coffee, and keeping her nails perfectly polished. The beach was her happy place, and she never turned down an opportunity to travel or enjoy a good meal - especially when crab legs were on the menu! Her laughter, her stories, and her joyful spirit made every gathering brighter. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Algie Harold Jones, her devoted partner, Billy Grant, and her cherished granddaughter, Anna Floyd Blake. Pam leaves behind a legacy of love through her children: Lynn Taylor (Debra), Elizabeth Purdue (Paul), Samantha Jones, James "Jay" Jones (Julie), Holly Cavanaugh (Tom), and Casey Jones (Sandy); eleven adored grandchildren: TJ Floyd, Stephanie Floyd, Taylor Purdue, Jabin Purdue, Jayden McFadden, Lexi Jones, Patrick Jones, Jessica Jones, Tommy Cavanaugh, JT Cavanaugh, and Caroline Cavanaugh; and three precious great-grandchildren: Landon Floyd, Nova Harris and Revel Jones. The family will receive friends Friday from 5-8 PM and again Saturday from 2-3 PM at Carmichael Funeral Home in Smyrna, prior to the service. Pam's legacy of kindness, laughter, and unconditional love will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her. Her spirit - sun-kissed, coffee in hand, full of life and love - will continue to shine through everyone she touched.
Carmichael Funeral Home in Smyrna is honored to serve the family.
