Paul Markle Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Paul Robert Markle Jr., on January 20, 2025, just one day shy of his 71st birthday.

Paul lived a life full of humor, musical passion and compassion for animals. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Paul leaves behind his loving partner, Melissa Markle, with whom he shared many years of happiness. He is survived by his daughter, Jessica Phillips Carothers, his two younger sisters, Lory Chrisco and Melony Newman, niece Renee Abu-Ghaben, along with an extended family who will carry his memory forward. Paul's friendships were a testament to his kind and generous spirit, and he touched the lives of many throughout his years.

Known for his warmth and wit, Paul had a unique ability to make others smile. He had a passion for life, helping others and finding joy in the simple moments.

His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.

A celebration of Paul's life TBD with details to follow.

I was shocked to read of Paula passing. He and I enjoyed many hours of friendship at the AmericanLegion Post 29. May he rest in peace as he sails westward.
