I am so sad to hear of Steve's passing. He was such a wonderful person and a great member of Smyrna Rotary Club in Rotary District 6900 (most of Atlanta and most of western Georgia including Columbus, Albany, etc.). Steve was always positive, upbeat, soft-spoken, calm and modest. He was present at just about every meeting and also contributed generously and financially to the Rotary Foundation. Steve was always there with a smile to participate in hands on projects our club loved to do such as Smyrna Adopt a Mile and Cobb Christmas.
Steve was often with his father J D Daniel, who was a Smyrna Rotary Club founder. Steve himself was Club President 2005-2006, was a constant supporter or Every Rotarian, Every Year, and had perfect attendance in several years. His wife Penny and his kids were usually at our family holiday events. My thoughts are with the Daniel family - Penny, Judy and Steve and Penny's children and grandchildren.
