Diana Sundstrom Obituary
Diana grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, moving to Fort Bragg in 1974, transitioning with her husband, Jim (Diamond) Sundstrom, to the commercial fishing industry (FV Northern Light). Throughout Diana's life, it was her passion to support various hospitals in both the Bay Area and she worked many years at the Mendocino Coast District Hospital.
Diana's latest passions included salmon fishing out of Noyo Harbor with her husband of 60 years, enjoying her grandchildren and family, cooking and feeding her beloved hummingbirds. Diana devoted her later years to caring for her husband, Jim, who died in April 2017.
Diana and Jim were predeceased by their son, Capt. Steve Sundstrom U.S.A.F F-16 pilot.
She is survived by her children, Erika Sundstrom-Brines (David Brines), David Sundstrom (Ryoko) and Glenn Sundstrom (Birdsong); daughter-in-law, Kari (Steve); grandchildren, Cody, Karlee, Alison, Jamie, Rex, Daniel, Kristin (Jody); great-grandchildren, Steven and Wyatt; and expectant great-granddaughters, which she was so excited to see join the family.
She will be missed dearly by everyone who knew her.

When I didn't receive an email back today from Diana, I decided to google her name and found she died back in July. My Dad was her father's brother............I'm a cousin of Diana and want the family to know how sorry I am to learn she is gone.
