AMANDA (BOBBI) MAE MARRISON
MAY 12, 1943 - NOVEMBER 7, 2012
Bobbi passed away peacefully
on Wed afternoon November 7th,
2012 in Mariposa with her family
at her side. She was born in
Hanford, Ca on May 12, 1943 to
Henry and Hazel Yaws. She was
one of 8 children.
She married Billy Marrison
on Nov 23rd, 1963. Bill worked
for PG&E and they traveled to
several different cities in their
early marriage before settling
down in Los Banos in 1970.
After Bill's death, she moved to
Mariposa and enjoyed living in
her dream home in the mountains
for several years before moving
back to Los Banos.
After raising her two children,
she worked in various jobs over
the years including a fork lift
operator for Tri Valley Growers, a
clerk at Cheapo Depot Video and
most recently as a receptionist at
H&R Block.
Bobbi loved to love and she
loved her family more than
anything else. She enjoyed
her Grandchildren and Great
Grandchildren so very much and
was always proud to tell you all
about them. She liked to camp
with her brothers and sisters,
to fish and to read. She liked to
dance and always was ready for
an adventure.
She is survived by her daughter
Teresa and husband Kevin
Bullis of Mariposa, her son Tim
and wife Tina Marrison of Los
Banos. Granddaughters Tonya
and husband Matt Lindsey of
Mariposa; Destiny Marrison of
Los Banos; Stephanie Marrison
of Kensington, Kansas and
Nicole Marrison of Modesto.
Three Great-Grandson's; Chase,
Caden and Cameron Lindsey of
Mariposa. Her brothers Jim Yaws
of Lake Almanor, Butch Yaws of
Vacaville, sisters; Carol Martin
of Oroville and Christy Hoffmier
of Rockland. She was proceeded
in death by her husband Billy
Marrison, parents; Henry and
Hazel Yaws and sisters; Connie
Landers, Shirley Marrison and
Candice Wilson.
Services will be held on Wed
November 14th from 11 AM to
Noon at Whitehurst Funeral
Chapel; 16524 S. Center Ave, Los
Banos. Burial to follow at 1:00
PM at the San Joaquin Valley
National Cemetery; 32053 West
McCabe Rd, Santa Nella. Lunch
will be served at Fire Station #1;
333 7th Street, Los Banos.
