Turlock, California - Blanche Unti, born September 28, 1934 to James and Olive Williams, passed away June 25, 2022 in Turlock, California. Blanche attended Yosemite Church in Merced. She was a member of Celebrate Recovery, The Emblem Club, Soroptimist International, Eagles, Merced Insurance Women, Italian Catholic Federation, The Ancient Order of Druids, Merced and served as a Grand Arch-Druidess, the Marching 100 Boosters, and Boots and Slippers Square Dance. Blanche served ice cream at Soroptimist socials with Cindy Temple for 20 years. She spent 47 years at Leap Carpenter Kemps. Was a volunteer at Mercy Hospital. She enjoyed camping and square dancing. Blanche was also a runway model for Gottschalks and was a member of the Merced Women's Club.
Blanche is preceded in death by her husband Aladino Unti Jr., son, Michael Unti and son, Carlton Unti.
She is survived by son, Greg Unti of San Francisco, daughter, Kathy Heller and son in-law, Jim C. Heller of Turlock, daughter in law, Lorraine Unti. Also surviving her are her grandchildren, Carl Unti, Korey Unti, Kody Unti, Nicole Mendez, Danielle Lopez, Spencer Warne (Steven) and James A Heller (Kyndel). Six Great Grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held for Blanche Thursday, June 30, 2022 at 11:00 am at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home located at 1490 B street, Merced. Burial will be at Merced District Cemetery at a later date.

I am Art Cocco´s (Blanche´s cousin) daughter. Blanche used to come to a lot of our family get-togethers. I tried a few years ago to get in touch with Blanche but wasn´t able to reach her and now I know why.
My deepest condolences go out to you all for the loss of Blanche. She was a wonderful person.

Our sincere heartfelt condolences to the Unti & Heller families.
Mrs. Unti was a fun person to be around. We was a huge part of the Merced Marching 100 Band Boosters, and would always be there to support us. Those were some great times that we'll never forget.
