Brad Gray-Smith Obituary

Born in Topeka, Kansas 1952.  The family then moved to California living in Merced, Cathey's Valley and Modesto. 
Brad attended schools in these areas, graduating from Stanislaus State College, Turlock.  Entering the field of accounting, he
was recruited for employment with the firm of Arthur Young.  He worked as a CPA in San Francisco, Fresno, and Mountain View.  He married his high school sweetheart Rita Ann Curtis.  In 1984 the couple divorced.  In 1985 he married Christine Gray.
Brad is survived by his wife Christine Gray-Smith of Belmont, his father, Bill and stepmother Phyllis Smith of Ballico (formerly of Merced) CA, his mother and stepfather, Fran and Clarence Yates of Auburn, NE., brother Rod Smith of Merced, stepbrothers David and Michael Eppley of Coarsegold, and stepsister Leesa Thoreson of Ballico.
Brad was an avid golfer and was an excellent cook, he loved preparing gourmet meals for his family and friends.  A "Celebration of his life" memorial service was held in Belmont, CA on Saturday Sept 8, for his family and friends.
