Carlos Sabala Memoriam

Carlos Sabala
The mother of Carlos Sabala wants to thank you all for your prayers. Carlos was born in and went to school in Merced. He then went to Los Angeles to work. There Carlos met and married Judy Crow. They had 4 children, Carlos, Chad, Daniel and Crystal Sabala. They came back to Merced to live, but Carlos went back to L.A. to work. He worked 15 years at Shutters by the Beach until he got sick and returned to Merced in 2011 to live with his sister Margie who took care of him because his mother Rosa is 80 years old. For the last month, Margie did everything. She spoon fed Carlos, gave him his medicine, bathed him and changed his clothes 3-6 times a day because Carlos would drool and vomit day and night. Chad, his son came to help Margie when she phoned him to come pick his father off the floor and to help take Carlos to the doctor. In Sept. 2011 Carlos was told he had lung cancer. Carlos wanted to get well to see all his grandchildren grow. Carlos' eyes would glow with happiness when his niece Trinidee Edwards would say "I'm your doctor, I'm going to hear your lungs Uncle." She had a toy stethascope. Trinidee was not afraid of Carlos. She loved Carlos so did her mother Teresa. His son Chad and his sisters Tina and Jessie who came to visit regularly, always gave Carlos a hug and kiss before they left. Carlos was mad because he had smoked and now he had lung cancer. He was in a lot of pain his last weeks and he was so mad that he donated his body to the: Willed Body program in San Francisco for Cancer Research.
Carlos grew up with his siblings: Margie, Elena, Loretta, Joe, Adrian, Siprian, Robert, Tina, Maria, Ray and Jessie Sabala. His parents are Rosa and Jose Sabala.
Carlos my beloved son was loved and he will truly be missed.
THANK YOU AGAIN for your prayers, and PLEASE Do NOT SMOKE, Carlos died 3/22/12
