Atwater , California - Coleman "Slim" Blackmun born March 31, 1950, age 71 of Atwater, California
passed away peacefully January 10, 2022 after battling a long illness.
He was a kind and loving partner to his wife, Irene Blackmun as well as an amazing father to their children, Leon (Gina) Blackmun, Laura (Brian) Gantt, Arlene (Roland) Arrayan, eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
He is also leaving behind his siblings, Kerry (Sharon) Blackmun and Spring (Jerel) Kingston.
His favorite saying was 'be kind', and this is exactly how he chose to live his life.
"Slim" spent 40 years in the concrete construction business and enjoyed hobbies such as reading, sharing stories with his family, riding his Harley Davidson and taking the love of his life on romantic drives in his 64 Chevy Pickup.
He will be memorialized January 22, 2022

My condolences to you Irene and your family. Slim was a great employee of mine for many years. I´ve known him since High School and not only was he a great employee but an wonderful friend RIP my friend.
