Livingston, California - David John Linan was born on January 10, 1939 to Tony & Sally Linan in Merced County. He was the second child among three siblings.Throughout his life, David exemplified dedication & commitment, working for Foster Farms for 47 years. Over 30 of those years were spent as a long-haul truck driver. It was while working at Foster Farms that David met the love of his life, Librada. They were married in January of 1963.Together, they had two children and raised their family in Livingston. David was also a passionate sports fan. He loved cheering on the San Francisco 49ers and the San Francisco Giants. However, he found even more joy in watching his grandchildren & their friends play sports. He was an active member of his church, participating as a member of the Knights of Columbus and serving as a reader during mass. His faith and community service were central to his life, & he always sought to help others. His willingness to lend a hand is one of the most enduring memories we all share.
David leaves behind his beloved wife, Librada, his daughter, four grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. His legacy is one of love, dedication, and unwavering support for his family and community.
Services for David Linan will be held on Thursday May 30th at St. Jude Thaddeus Church in Livingston, CA. Services will begin at 9am.

David was a great and kind man with a heart of gold, who I love and respect and am thankful that I was and am part of his family's life. He set a fine example for others with the way he lived his life. God bless and rest in peace David, you will be missed here on earth.

Dave was a good hard working man. He always had the best looking truck in the fleet. He won many trophies at truck shows. Always ready to help his fellow drivers while loading or unloading at the many warehouses we delivered to.
