Deanna Morgan Obituary
May 4, 1937 - October 9, 2025
Roseville , California - Deanna M. Morgan passed away of natural causes on October 9 in Roseville, CA., at the age of 88. She was born in Lawrence, Kansas, to Delbert and Charlotte Miller. The oldest of 4 children, she leaves behind 2 brothers and a sister. Deanna earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Kansas. She taught music to children for many years in both public schools and churches. She was passionate about spreading the joy of music! A resident of Merced for 45 years, Deanna was active in the United Methodist Church and St. Paul Lutheran Church. Deanna was also active in the Merced chapter of PEO, the symphony league, and various other musical organizations. She was preceded in death by her husband of more than 60 years, Leonard W. Morgan. Deanna was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many people and left behind two sons and three grandchildren. Graduates of Merced High School, her sons were Bryce W. Morgan of Roseville, CA, and Dr. Ross E. Morgan of Quincy, CA.
To honor the spirit of Deanna, donations can be made to the Hmong Outreach Ministry of St. Paul Lutheran Church at 2916 McKee road in Merced.

Mrs. Morgan was my music teacher at St. Luke's school in the 80's and she also was my piano teacher. I have fond memories of the Christmas pageants we would have at school and she is a big part of that. Sending my condolences and love to her family.
