Dos Palos, California - Dirk Curtis Perry, 59, of Dos Palos, CA, passed away on February 2, 2022 in Walnut Creek, CA.
Dirk was born on June 13, 1962 to Gwen (Stone) and Curt Perry, who both preceded him in death. Dirk grew up in the small community of Dos Palos, where he gained lifelong friends and made an impact on others through his sense of humor, generosity, humility, and gift of music.
Dirk is survived by his children Alicia Teller, Destiny (Daniel) Sullivan, and Derrick (Alyssa) Perry; five grandchildren, Felicity Perry, Trinity Perry, Maeve Sullivan, Emmett Sullivan, and Callan Sullivan; five brothers, Steve, Ned (Patty), Matt (Lisa), Bryce, and Eric; and one doting big sister, Renee (Jeff) Gibson. Dirk also leaves behind beloved nieces, nephews, friends, and those (Deenay, Tasha, and Austen) to whom he was the adoptive father and grandfather lovingly known as Daddy Dirk.
Dirk was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He possessed a beautiful, selfless spirit that shined and made a lasting impression upon anyone he encountered; his unwavering support and unconditional love carried many through difficult times. His impact is far-reaching and everlasting. Though his spirit lives on through the legacy he created with the lives he touched, the world will never be the same without him.
A celebration of life will be held at 1300 Broadview Ave in Atwater, CA on February 19, 2022 at 1:00pm.
