Donald Gene Mesa, born August 1, 1955 in Merced, Ca passed away on April 9, 2016 at the age of 60. He was a plumber for 10 years. His greatest joy was being down by the river, where he would fish. He also enjoyed hunting from time to time. Donny would always give a helping hand to a friend in need, and family was also very important to him.
Donald is survived by his son, Gabriel Mesa, parents, Phillip Mesa (Shirley) and Marie Chaves (Al), brother, Kenneth Mesa, sister, Debbie Downey (Richard), one grandchild, Jenna Mesa and numerous nieces and nephews. A special thank you goes out to his special friends Charlene and Dave who took special care of Donny in their home.
Memorial Service will be Wed. April 20, 2016 at 1 PM at Wilson Family Funeral Chapel, 1290 Winton Way, Atwater.

I only knew Donny for a few year but I learned so much from him,last year was a tough year and having donny as a friend is what got me threw it. Its was a hard year but one of the best ill ever have. He helped me grow so much. I would never ask for anyone else to have been there with me. Ill miss you Donny and even though i can't see you, I know your with me. I feel you with me. I will never forget you. Rest in peace donny mesa.
