I had the privilege to work with Doreen for at least 25 years before she retired and have enjoyed seeing her at our lunches after retirement hearing about her travels. I will remember Doreen as always happy and looking forward to her next adventure. I will miss her smiling face and giving me the heads up on the next big estate sale. She will truly be missed by a lot of people. I am sorry for your loss.

Doreena classy lady that I met over 40 years ago. She was my first secretary at the Merced Union High School District Office. Ralph Sherlock and I shared her expertise. She was a beautiful, highly competent assistant. You could assign her any task and you knew it would be a accomplished. And, if for some reason, we were headed in the wrong direction, she straightened us out quickly! My confidence in Doreen's skills was so high, that when our son passed away, I did not hesitate to call on her to plan the funeral reception. She set a high mark for our classified staff while still enjoying a full life. Qualities that we would all admire and respect.

Doreen was a very special lady, role model, friend and co-worker. The years spent working with her in the District Office and the many lunches shared with special ladies who have long retired will be always hold a special place in my heart.

I new Doreen through Merced Union High School District.
When I was in the library at Livingston High School, she helped me with my book count. Sometime good, sometimes bad. She was a wonderful friend and I will miss her smiling face. My best to the families.
