Dearest Maurice and Carol, Although I never met Elyse I recognize what a special girl she must have been. I can not imagine what your experience in losing your child is. I have though of your struggle and pray everyday that you are able to move to a place where you remember the glorious memories you have of her and that those move you to a place of peace. I find solace in knowing you are near family and friends and have them around you as you recall everything of your daughters wonderful nature and the times you had with her. I will keep you and Elyse in my prayers. I Send you and all the family my love.

My Uncle Mike McCormick eloquently says it! She impressed the Elyse way of joy and love with all, near and far! I was blessed to have grown up around/with your amazing family in my home town, then to work at MPUSD with her (which she was a true gem to our Monterey Peninsula community as well), and a continued relationship when she returned to our home town. My heart and prayers are with your entire family, and to all she impacted (many, far and wide).

Elyse was simply one of the best people I've ever known. Always pleasant and cheerful like a breath of fresh air. I know that she is walking with God and living in the hearts and minds of all of us that were left behind. I believe she will always live in our hearts, you just don't loose a flame that burns as bright as she did. God Bless you Elyse, your short time here definitely made this world a better place.

Elyse, you have always been an angel in my eyes and as hard as it was to hear that God needed you more, youre safe and free of any Illness. I can see you with all the children in heaven. This saddens my heart but thank you for touching my life, and I have told my daughter all about you when she was 4 and on Sunday afternoon. She held mom tight and said, shes in heaven now. You rest sweet Angel, I love you Elyse
