George Miller 82, of Merced CA passed away August 14, 2012. His family was by his side when he drifted off to be with the Lord. He was the 8th child to Charles and Nettie Miller. He was in the area of Ponce de Leon, Fl. He is preceded in death by His wife, Jean and their daughter Linda. He is survived by sister Mary Alice Terry, his son Greg Miller, daughter Kathy Wiren, three grandchildren, Amanda Mackley-Gore, Daniel Wiren, Christina Miller, and six great grandchildren. He was the pastor at Trinity Baptist Church in Merced for 40 yrs. He always shared his love of God with everyone. He was a ranch foreman for many years then started his own business, Valley Pure Water Systems in 1991. He had a love of working with wood and antiques, of all kinds. He was proud of his family and his church. George touched lives wherever he went. George Miller will be laid to rest at Winton Cemetery in Winton California. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, August 20, 2012. Arrangements are under the direction of Wilson Family Funeral Chapel in Atwater CA.

You and your family have been a part of my life for more than 25 years. You and Jean were just like parents to me and my children only knew you guys as Grandma and Grandpa Miller. You had a positive impact on my life and you will be forever in my heart. This is not good bye but till we meet again, save a place for me in heaven. I love you and will miss you.

I would like to thank George's family for allowing us this short time with him. Terri, You were amazing with George and I will never forget your love for him. Kathy and Greg, Dad often said just how much he loved the both of you... George, You will ALWAYS be in my heart and never too far from my mind...
