Aunt Hazel was always laughing and so much fun to be around! I'll miss her a lot. I want to share one special memory that came into my mind the afternoon of her passing (before I got the news) It was the two of us standing on the sidewalk outside their house waiting for my mom to pick me up. As a child I would go stay a few days at the Parker house during the summer. This particular stay my Aunt Hazel taught me to sew! I was probably 8 or 9? I stood on the sidewalk proud as ever of this little red skirt with suspenders we made together! I could not wait to show my Mom! What a gift Aunt Hazel gave me, teaching me as a child how to follow the steps to create my own clothes! That time she spent with me taught me patients, pride, confidence and a love for sewing. I can still remember that like it was yesterday, what an awesome memory! Of course there are SO MANY more from our Annual Frade Women retreats.. too many to list! My heartfelt sympathy to all the family. I will see you all Thursday. Love, Shelly
