Merced , California - Jacob John Severa born 4/07/1990 passed away on Wednesday 5/17/2023, at the age of 33. He was born in Merced CA and attended High School at Atwater High. He joined the Army in May 2014 through 2019 he served in Djibouti Africa, Afghanistan, and Iraq. Jacob quickly gained rank accomplishing the role of becoming a Sergeant. He enjoyed weightlifting, family barbecues, listening to music, and spending time with friends and family. He is survived by his wife Jennifer Lambert - Severa, Mother Estefanie Severa, his Grandparents Madelyn Flores and Ernest Flores, his sister Hilaria Claude, brothers Elias Marcel Claude, Shawn Carlyle Claude Jr, his daughters Autumn Maci-Ann Gray-Severa, Aria Mae-Louise Williams, and Jayla Love Buntyn, he is proceeded in death by his father Shawn Carlyle Claude. Jacob was a loving husband, son, grandson, father, nephew, uncle, cousin, and dear friend and beloved by those he served with in the army. Jacob will be especially remembered for his huge heart, sense of humor, and love for his family and friends. He will be undoubtedly missed and forever in our hearts.
