JAMES FOLTZ Obituary
Jim is so loved and will be missed by all. Jim is survived by his loving companion, Becky Corriea; daughter, Jamie Foltz (John); his son, James Foltz, Jr. (Sahrah); his parents, Jerry and Pat Schmidt; siblings, Steve (Barbara), Suzie (Paul), and John (Debbie); 10 grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Jim's passion's in life were his family, his dog, deer hunting and Nascar #24. Jim set his calendar of life for "opening day of deer season", which he spent with his best friend and brother John and his son JJ. Jim was an original member and retiree of the Manuel Victor Motorcycle Club.
Jim graduated from Atwater High School in 1973, and was the owner/operator of a business in Merced for the past three decades.
A Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 20, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. at this Ain't Your Momma's Church, (Christian Life Center), 650 East Olive Avenue, Merced, Ca.Arrangements are under the direction of Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home.

Jim came through the hard times with his head held high and never forgot his friends. He was such a crackup and his humor was contagious. Steve, you need to take care of John during this time. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you.

We will all miss Jim,Jim taught me family and relationships were first then business.I had the privilege to know Jim for 12 years, I looked forward to working with Jim, he was fair and funny.I have been a plumber for 25 years, Jim is the only guy that convinced me to jump in a swimmingpool to clear a drain. Jim left a legacy. He will be missed.

I come to pay my respects to a man who was loved very much by his daughter Tanya and so many other family members and friends. I did not meet you Jim but your daughter spoke highly of you on several occasions and I know she loved you very much and will always carry good memories of you

Dear Papa,
We all love you very much and we really wish you were still here with us, you left wayyy to early and it was so unexpected. But by you leaving us, it has brought so many people together; too care, love and help each other. But just think we will all be reunited sometime in the future, hopefully not anytime soon tho’.

Sorry to hear of your loss. Jim always had something funny to say, you couldn't help but laugh & have a better day. I know John & Jim were very close, it's going to be hard for John. As a mother, I can't imagine what Pat is going through either. Know that I will be holding you all up in prayer and that I am truly sad that you have to go through this.
