John "Trunky" Dacuyan

John "Trunky" Dacuyan was born on September 9, 1970 in Merced, Ca to parents, Guy and Priscilla Geoble and Edward Dacuyan, deceased. He passed away unexpectedly from a broken heart on February 21, 2018 at the age of 47.
He leaves behind to honor his memory, his children: Alex, Jayda and Ty and siblings Ramona Dacuyan, Joseph Salado and Heather Granado, Edward Dacuyan Jr, Medina Dacuyan, Christina Dacuyan, Marie Blankenship, and Guy Geoble Jr.
He is predeceased by the love of his life, Pam. They were junior high sweethearts and were married 24 years before her untimely death last year. He was kind, selfless and always willing to give you the shirt off his back. They loved BBQing with friends and family and especially loved going to the beach. He was involved with his children's activities and coached their t-ball and football teams. He was an avid fisherman and loved watching boxing and football was his passion that stemmed from a young age. His favorite ride was his Harley Davidson and his pets, Suki and Lennox were also a huge part of his life.
Trunky was a star athlete at Atwater High School graduating in 1987. He holds records that are still unbroken in football. After high school he worked for Richwood Meats but most recently he was a forklift driver at Dole Packaging Foods in Atwater.

A celebration of Trunky's life will be held March 10, 2018 at Liberty Fellowship Church located at 1900 Shaffer Road at 10:00am. Burial will immediately follow after the service at Winton Cemetery.
