Luther was a mentor and great blessing to me. When I was in my darkest place he drove hundreds of miles in his 70's to visit me. What an amazing servant of the Lord! At the end it was a blessing to be able to pray with and for him, instead of the other way around.
Our condolences to the family, may the Lord Himself bless and keep you.

Deepest condolences to the Englund family. I first met Luther as Chaplain at Emanuel Hopspital. He also did the memorial service for one of my Aunts. Luther was one of my favorite customers at a local grocery store. I always looked forward to talking with him. He will be missed. Rest In Peace Luther.

Beth your Dad meant a lot to me. He always had a kind word and very easy to talk to about anything. He helped so many people. I always enjoyed my conversations with him and loved his laugh. Tina Jurado

Good friends that you can play word games with are hard to come by. He always pulled my leg when he could and I tried to return the same. A kinder, gentler man will be hard to find. He was truely a blessing to me in the short time we knew each other. I am happy that he is now looking down on us and giving us a big smile. Thanks, Luke....
