Nancy Lyons Obituary

Born at Providence Hospital, Oakland to Edward C. and Jean M. Ramsey of Mill Valley.
Attended schools in Mill Valley and Sausalito Calif. Survived by daughters Kevel Jane Gutman of Williamsburg, VA and Kimberly Jean Walker of Merced. Also survived by loving long time partner Richard Anderson of Merced, two grandsons and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by daughter Lesly Ann (1952) and former husbands George R. Williams (1985) and Harold M. Lyons of Merced and Atwater (1987), also her only sister Jean M. Montague (1952).
Nancy was know for her beauty, being a Miss California Runner-up in the 1930's, as well as for her fashion sense and decorating skills.
She loved spending summers at the family cabin on Meeks Bay, Lake Tahoe and visiting the Big Island in Hawaii. She also volunteered for a number of years at the Hospital Assistance League in Merced.
No services, interment at Mount Tamalpais Cemetery, San Rafael, CA.

You taught me so much and I'll never forget you. You loved dogs like no one else. You had the greatest style. Your blue eyes will always shine. My deepest sympathy to Richard, Kim, Kevel, and your family. Until we meet again.
