Pauline Arambel was born on May 14, 1924 in Esterencuby, France to Martin and Marie Erratchu. She passed away in Los Banos, CA surrounded by her family on February 27, 2016, at the age of 91.
She came to the United States in 1948 and married Jean Pierre Arambel in 1949. She became a US citizen in 1962.
Pauline received a Certificate of Nursing in 1965. In 1965, she started her 15 year career as a custodian for the Los Banos Unified School District. She then was a full time home-care giver for many years.
Pauline was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; and all her brothers and sisters.
Pauline is survived by her two sons, Daniel Arambel (Cindy) and Michel Arambel (Jaclyn). Grandchildren Jared Arambel, Justin Arambel, Jean Arambel (Jennifer), Jonathan Arambel, Dana Rios (Allan) and great-grandson Parker Rios.
The rosary will be recited Monday, March 7th at 9:30 followed by Mass at 10:00; burial to follow at the Los Banos Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to New Bethany, 1441 Berkeley Dr., Los Banos or your favorite charity.
Services are under the direction of Whitehurst Funeral Chapel-Los Banos.

Pauline was a dear friend of our family and lived down the street from my Auntb Florence We used to loved to visit her and her family when we stayed with our aunt. We will always remember dear Pauline as a perfect hostess and a spotless housekeeper !
