Grandpa, I always thought you would be here because you were so strong. I can't believe you left us so soon. I will miss you more than you know. You took care of everybody and made sure to always help those around you. We will always remember and appreciate who you were. But, I know your resting now. I love you.

I can't believe that I am having to write this. It just doesn't seem real. How do I even start? My dear uncle thank you for all the great memories that you helped me to have from a very young child to now. I will forever be thankful for them. You were a rock to your family. You made so many sacrifices through your life so that others were taken care of and you never complained. When we lost our precious mom you were there once again as always. You were very special to us. You are no longer suffering from your ailments and sickness here on this earth and that is a great loss for the ones who loved you. You give a whole new meaning to (you don't realize what you have until you no longer have it). Many will never experience or know the great big heart that you had. I am thankful that I was one of the lucky ones. I will never forget what you meant to me. I will continue to love you forever even if it is now at a distance.
To my cousin, I know how your heart is broken and feels like it will never mend. My uncle was one that left an impression that could not be forgotten. I remember many times he would pick me up so we could spend time together and for that I will always be greatful. I know he loved you with all his heart and so that is how I know he loved you a lot because his heart was big. I know he loved his sister (my mom) as he showed it time and time again. I have reflected back many times on our times together made possible by him. He was special and I never doubted that he loved us ever. I miss that ol' fossil. I love you.
