Stephen L. Saunders

August 27, 1956 - November 26, 2024

Merced Falls, California - Stephen L. Saunders, age 68, passed away peacefully on November 26, 2024 with loved ones by his side at the home of his daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Brian Dyck.

Known as Steve by family and friends, he was an avid sports fan and enjoyed sharing his love and knowledge of iconic sports heros of all sports and eras.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Diana L. Saunders, two daughters, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, in-laws and nieces and nephews.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Joan and Stanley Saunders, his daughter Jodi and brother David Saunders. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten.

May his memory be a blessing to all who loved him. All services will be private.

To Steven's family

Steven was a great friend of mine in high school. Warm, sincere, funny, and fun. I wish we had stayed in touch but we were kids and these things happened I'm glad you had him and he you. California I'm sure suited him. I hope your grief is tempered with warm memories. Nick Buck Newcastle Maine.
