William Richard (Billy) Waite, age 35 years, died peacefully on November 17, 2022 at Doctor's Medical Center in Modesto, California. Born in Merced, CA on April 22, 1987, he was the son of Michael and Cheryl Waite. Billy was a resident of Merced during his life and graduated from Golden Valley High School in 2005.
He was known for his witty humor, caring compassion, love for sports, particularly basketball. Billy loved God, music, dancing and animals, specifically his dog Tyson and cat Curry! During his teenage years he enjoyed being part of a car race team with Cory Gilmore. He was a loud soul and had a way of impacting everyone he met.
His family wants to thank everyone who has helped Bill throughout his life. Billy will greatly be missed but will live on as he was able to donate his heart valve. Billy is survived by his parents, younger sister June Waite and sister-in-law Taylor Waite, aunts, cousins and many friends who loved him very much. A private burial will be held December 17, 2022 at the Merced District Cemetery.
