Albert Sever

Albert George Sever June 5, 1925 - Aug. 26, 2012 Resident of Ventura, CA Albert G. Sever dearly loved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and friend passed away at his home in Ventura, CA on Sunday morning August 26, 2012 at the age of 87. Al was born and raised in San Francisco and was a graduate of USF. He is survived by his wife of 61 years Rita, their seven children and spouses along with fifteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Al was a resident of San Francisco and San Jose while working for 35 years with the Pacific Telephone Company until his retirement in 1982. Upon retirement he and Rita volunteered many years of service to the Franciscan Order at the Santa Barbara Mission in Southern California. His love of sports and dogs was exceeded only by his love and dedication to everyone in his family. Known by everyone for his constant warm smile, Al will be remembered fondly by all those who were lucky enough to meet him. Funeral services were held on September 1, 2012 at Mission San Luis Rey in Oceanside CA where Al is interred.
