Barbara June (Zeller) Cheim Born at home in San Jose on July 14,1932 to Asa Clayton Zeller and Madge Crowder (Hunt) Zeller. Passed away peacefully in her sleep on Nov 2,2022 she was 90 years young. As a child, June loved tree climbing, wrestling, and running. She played piano, organ, violin, and cello, Eb tenor sax, and clarinet. She received a Honor Society at San Jose High School, Music Major at University of the Pacific, Stockton and played 8 years at local churches.As a young adult, June worked at the E.F. Hutton Stock exchange and played Pipe Organ for 1st Presbyterian and Lutheran churches for 8 yrs. She returned to college, graduated in food service management and worked at Alum Rock School District for 25 years. She also worked alongside with her children and husband on weekends at the San Jose Flea Market. She Felt her Greatest accomplishment was Raising 5 boys and 2 girls with her loving husband of 52 years, Leo G. Cheim. June was a truly generous soul, beloved by all who knew her. June said her ultimate goal in life was to fill it with love, pass this love to her family, and encourage all to love one another.She is survived by her sons Paul (Catherine), David (Gloria), Scott (Jann), Daryl, & Robert (Elizabeth), Daughters Cynthia, & April, there are 22 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren.Services will be held at the Chapel of the Roses, Oak Hill Funeral Home in San Jose on Tuesday November 29th at Viewing at 9:00am and service at 11:00am, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite charity.
