Betty was a wonderful piano teacher and a wonderful human being. She reached out to me when I first moved to CA and joined CAPMT in the 90's, and was a warm supporter. She made everyone feel welcome and special.

Mrs D will.always have a special place in my heart. She was my only piano teacher and the biggest smile.on the block. She wasn't just a neighbor or my teacher but also my friend and we co sidereal ourselves family. We continued to be penpals (she even wrote with my daughter) when she moved to Montana. I'll miss her weekly letters and her smiles.

Betty was a gifted piano teacher who helped fill our little corner of the world with young musicians and the joy that goes with that. She influenced many young lives. We are grateful to have been a part of that world.

Betty Davis was so much more than just a piano teacher to my children. She was also a compassionate listener and surrogate grandmother to all. I think of her often and feel her presence as I watch my 6 year old granddaughter take her piano lessons. She touched so many lives and will be missed.
