I was a friend & Co-worker of Cam for about 10 years.Loved listening to his oldies but goody tunes and surfing stories.

"Cam" as we liked to call him, was a unique individual whose talents and hobbies took him far and wide. I worked with Cam for almost 15 years and he never ceased to amaze me. His surfing dedication was a driving force in his healthy years and beyond. This was a guy who went to Pacifica before sunrise to get in a couple of hours of surfing before coming to work. He always tried to enlist others in his passion including myself. The one and only time I did go surfing was after he insisted that I would make a great surfer. He provided all the gear the transportation and taught me the basics. On the fateful day we suited up and walked into the surf. I was in the water only up to my knees when a small wave came by and lifted the front of my board and nearly knocked me unconscious, obviously surfing was not for me. I and others at Stanford will miss you and I am glad we had the opportunity to visit and reminisce about the old days at SLAC, this past Christmas. May fair winds and smooth curls guide you on your final journey.

I was Cam's friend and his supervisor at SLAC with Research Group "G". We spent the day working and listening to 50's rock&roll. I'm going to dearly miss my rock&roll buddy. Rock on my brother!
