Carl Carlentini Obituary

Carl Carlentini, 83, passed away peacefully at his home in Los Banos, California on October 14, 2023 after a long and brave battle with cancer. He will be forever remembered for his humor and bad jokes, pitch-perfect storytelling, kindness to others, positive outlook on life and beautiful blue eyes. Carl was born to Sicilian immigrant parents, raised in Campbell, California and graduated from Campbell High School. After serving in the U.S. Army, Carl embarked upon a 45 year career with the US Postal Service. He was proud to be a postal worker and thoroughly enjoyed his route and serving the community of Santa Clara. Carl remained close with his high school classmates and cherished their regular get-togethers. He loved his friends, all things sports related particularly Bay Area teams and his loyal felines Stevie, Rocky Boy and Sammie. The center of his world was his companion of 33 years Maryann Santos who was by his side as he drew his last breath. To know Carl was to love Carl and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Godspeed, Carl, and go Spartans!
