Resident of Hollister
Catherine, affectionately called Baba, passed away peacefully in her home of 75 years.
Catherine is survived by her eldest daughter Pauline Dabo Mifsud (Bill, deceased), Jane Dabo Cruz (Joe), Mitch, Jr. (Julie) and Ann Marie Dabo (Rose) Melendez.
Catherine has eleven grandchildren, William Charles, II, (Monica) Michael Joseph (Michelle), Christina, Catherine Heller (Richard) and Jenna, Jonelle Cruz and Stephanie (Dan) LaPray, Mitch,III, (Jill), Tyler, (Jamie), John and Kimberly (Curtis) Brown. Catherine is also survived by twenty-seven great-grandchildren, nephew, Peter (Pam) Kovacich, and niece Kathy (Bob) Ceremsak. Catherine
leaves many nieces and nephews in Canada and Croatia.

Thank you for your condolences on behalf of our entire family.
My favorite memory of Baba is when we climbed to the top of the Holy Site at Međugorje in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It was in 1997 and Baba was 77 - we were at the base of this rocky hillside - not knowing how we were going to get to the top... we looked at each other... questioningly. Then, as Baba explains it, “I don’t know how the Spirit did it but we were like rabbits!” - before we knew it we were at the top of the pebble-laden hillside at the site now marked in large wooden crosses to pray. We had somehow been transported to the top like two scurrying rabbits ... quickly, swiftly and effortlessly! It was then during our prayers, that Baba saw the crosses levitate and sway - it was her vision - and I witnessed her Great Faith and how God chose her to reveal these mysteries. I was still trying to figure out how on earth we got to the top! God bless Baba always and forever and may her Spirit reveal itself to all of us to give us strength and hope to carry our crosses.

Our condolences to Dabo family. Your mother will remembered with much fondness by many. I remember the hotel and restaurant on main st. My aunt and uncle had the Model Bakery just down the street. Rest in everlasting peace Mrs. Dabo.
