Charles Craycroft Obituary

After a lengthy battle with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis, we lost Bill. He was from Louisville, KY where he graduated from St. Xavier High and then continued on to graduate from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy and Harvard Law School. He loved being a trial lawyer and mentor in Intellectual Property and Trade Secrets for 45 years in the Silicon Valley. Bill could be found playing polo at the Menlo Circus Club on Friday afternoons. He loved his family, dogs, horses, Barolo wine, cribbage, hardback books, and Portofino, Italy. Bill is survived by his wife, Julie, and four daughters, Lori (Jack Kelly), Jane (Steve Wimberg), Jena Craycroft, Melissa (Rob Haun), six grandkids and 3 great grandkids. He is deeply missed by his 3 wine buddies, Jack Estill, Rick Leininger and Arturo Klein. Please raise a glass to this exceptional man who lived life to the fullest.

If we both end up somewhere with water, I hope we can drink that glass of wine on the sailboat we still need to take out.
