Chi Nguyen Obituary

Ms. Chi TKim Nguyen Died Sept. 22, 2008 after a long courageous battle with lupus. Born February 21, 1948 in Da Lat, Vietnam, she immigrated to the United States in December 1983. As a teacher for the blind in Vietnam in her early adulthood, she fought tirelessly for a new life in the United States for her and her family. She lived most of her adult life in San Jose, CA working within the medical community. Ms. Chi TKim Nguyen is survived by her mother Tot Pham, her loving husband Long Van Nguyen, daughters Phung Kim Nguyen and Tien Xuan Nguyen, son-in-law Otto Leung and precious grandson Sebastian Leung, her brothers, Dr. Ngai Xuan Nguyen and Diep Ngoc Nguyen, sister-in-law Chi Kim Nguyen, nephew Francis Lan Nguyen, sister Thu Anh Nguyen, nieces Bich Ngoc Nguyen and Anna Ngo and Aunt Tuyet Pham. Ms. Chi TKim Nguyen was laid to rest on Friday, September 26, 2008 at Los Gatos Memorial Park. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, all contributions be made to the National Lupus Foundation.
